Great resource and written in a fashion that is easy to follow and understand! In an era where almost all lighting instruments and controllers are manufactured abroad, the instructions and resource manuals are usually poorly written, at best, and very difficult to follow. This resource is written with proper grammar and spelling which helps to further simplify the process in learning DMX.My only suggestion for future editions is a dumbed-down manual operation guide for scanners and moving heads, for those instances where you are in the midst of a show with scenes and chases that were prebuilt but a focus (speaker, bride/groom, etc.) moves or is introduced without advance warning - basically, a way to simply and quickly take control of a fixture or group of fixtures and manually control the movement (I picture a joystick on a hardware controller).
